What time are check-in and check-out?

Check-in starts at 3:00pm. Please check-out by 11:00am.

I will be arriving at the hotel much later than check-in time. How can I check in?

If you expect to arrive after midnight, please let us know in advance.
Note that we will cancel reservations without such prior announcement.

When should I pay for my accommodation? At the time of check-in or check-out?

Our hotel has a pre-paid policy.
We ask our guests to pay for accommodation according to the number of nights you will be staying at the time of check-in.
If you elect to stay beyond your reservation, please pay for each night's accommodation daily.
A receipt will be given to you at the time of check-in.

Are cashless payments accepted?

Yes. credit cards, prepaid IC cards and QR code payment for public transportation in the lists below are accepted.

Can I pay for my accommodation before check-in?

Yes. We accept your advance payment through the following methods.
*Payment by bank transfer
*Direct payment by visiting our hotel in advance

If you want to pay for your accommodation in advance, please call the front desk and let us know the details such as when and how.
Without advance payment, guests must pay the accommodation bill on arrival.

How far in advance can I make a reservation?

We accept reservations 8 months before your stay through the internet or telephone.
If you wish to stay longer than the predetermined plans on our website, or if you make a reservation earlier than 8 months before, please call us by telephone or Email.

Can I make a reservation on the same day I plan to arrive?

Yes. You can make a reservation through the internet or by telephone.
Please confirm the availability on the day through the internet or telephone as there may be cases of no vacancy.

Can I request a non-smoking room or a smoking room?

Our hotel has no guest rooms where smoking is allowed.
If you wish to smoke, please use the smoking booths on the 18th and 19th floors.

What are the hotel policies in regards to staying with children?

Guests may share a bed with an infant under 6 years old without any charge.
Please request that at the front desk when you check in.

*Please note that guests cannot share a bed with a child under some plans.
*Please note that the breakfast fee for children will be charged separately.

Can the hotel assist in holding a surprise event for celebrating a birthday or a wedding anniversary during our stay?

It may be possible to help guests hold a surprise event depending on the circumstances.
Please contact us by telephone or through the website.

Are there any foreign language speaking staff at the hotel?

Yes. English speaking staff are available. In addition, some staff members can also speak Chinese.
*Please note that they are working in shifts and may not always be available.

What is the hotel's cancellation policy?

Cancellation fees will be charged as follows.
2 to 3 days before your scheduled arrival, 20% of the room rate; 1 day before, 50%; cancellation on your scheduled arrival day, 80%; and no-show, 100%.

*Note that our cancellation policy may vary depending on the accommodation plan.
*For groups of more than 8 rooms, please contact the hotel directly for more information as cancellation rates may differ.

What are the extra charges for early check-in or late check-out?

In the case of early check-in:
Normally, you can check-in from 3:00pm. Depending on the room preparation, you may be able to enter your room a bit earlier than 3:00pm. If you request a specific early check-in time, you need to pay an extra charge. (You should reserve the early check-in time at least one day before your arrival.) Please note that we cannot accept some requests depending on the availability of rooms.

In the case of late check-out:
Guests must pay an extra charge for late check-out. We may not be able to accept some requests depending on the booking of rooms.

Guests who are JR HOTEL MEMBERS can extend check-out until noon without an extra charge.

Is there a curfew for entrance to the hotel?

There is no curfew. However, the first floor main entrance is locked from midnight to 5:00am.
To open the entrance, you must bring your card key whenever you go out.
Please hold the card key over the card reader to enter the hotel during this period.

It is possible to store luggage at the hotel before check-in or after check-out?

We can store your belongings and luggage at our hotel reception.
Please do not hesitate to notify us if you would like to use this service. After check-out, you can store your luggage only for that day.
In addition, please note that we cannot accept valuables, fragile items, dangerous goods, important documents, and perishable goods.

I would like to send my luggage to the hotel in advance. Does the hotel allow this?

Yes. Please ensure your luggage contains the following information:
•Guest’s name (written in full)
*Please write the name of the person who made the reservation.

•Reservation date
•Your phone number
*Please add the name of travel agency, when you join a tour conducted by the travel agency.

Where is the main entrance of the hotel?

You can see the main entrance opposite the Daiichi Hotel Tokyo.
Please use the elevator to come to the front desk on the 18th floor.

How can I get to the hotel from the nearest station?

When you get out from the Hibiya Exit of JR Shimbashi Station, turn right.
After going straight for a while, you can see the Daiichi Hotel Tokyo on the left hand side.
Turn left at the corner of the Daiichi Hotel Tokyo and go straight ahead. You will see our hotel.
Please use the elevator to come to the front desk on the 18th floor.

How can I get to the hotel from Haneda Airport (Tokyo International Airport)?

[Tokyo Monorail]
Please get on the Tokyo Monorail at Haneda Airport, and get off at Hamamatsu-cho Station.
Change to the JR Yamanote Line inner loop heading for Tokyo and Ueno and get off at JR Shimbashi Station.
You can reach the hotel within five minutes on foot from the Hibiya Exit of JR Shimbashi Station. (see above)

[Keihin Express]
Please get on the Keihin Express Airport Special Rapid, or Rapid, (which is directly connected to the TOEI TRANSPORTATION Asakusa Line) heading for Shinagawa, and get off at Shimbashi Station of the TOEI TRANSPORTATION Asakusa Line.
You can reach the hotel within eight minutes on foot from the A2 Exit of Shimbashi Station.
If you get off at Shinagawa Station, please change to the JR Yamanote Line inner loop heading for Tokyo and Ueno and get off at JR Shimbashi Station.
You can reach the hotel within five minutes on foot from the Hibiya Exit of JR Shimbashi Station.

How can I get to the hotel from Narita Airport?

Please get off at Nippori Station and change to the JR Yamanote Line outer loop heading for Tokyo, and get off at JR Shimbashi Station.
You can reach the hotel within five minutes on foot from the Hibiya Exit of JR Shimbashi Station. (see above)

[Keisei Narita Access Express/directly connected to the TOEI TRANSPORTATION Asakusa Line]
Please get off at Shimbashi Station of the TOEI TRANSPORTATION Asakusa Line. You can reach the hotel within eight minutes on foot from the A2 Exit of Shimbashi Station.

[Narita Express]
Please transfer at JR Tokyo Station and change to the JR Yamanote Line outer loop heading for Shinagawa, and get off at JR Shimbashi Station.

Are mobile phone chargers available?

Yes. We rent mobile phone chargers at the front desk.
Please feel free to rent one.

Are wheelchairs available at the hotel?

Yes. There are a limited number of wheelchairs available.
Please make a request in advance.

Are humidifiers available at the hotel?

Yes. All guest rooms have a humidifier.

Are rooms equipped with an electric kettle?

Yes. All guest rooms have an electric kettle.

Are rooms equipped with a refrigerator?

Yes. All guest rooms have a refrigerator.
Please note that all refrigerators in Standard, Superior, and Deluxe rooms are empty.
Selected beverages are prepared for guests of the Premium rooms.

Are both cold and hot water available for drinking in the guest rooms?

We provide bottles of mineral water in all guest rooms.
You can also drink the tap water from every guest room.
If you want to drink hot water, please use the electric kettle in your room.
If you need ice cubes, please use the icemakers on the 20th and 24th floors.
Selected beverages are prepared for guests of the Premium rooms.

Is it possible to use an extra bed?

Deluxe twin rooms can accommodate a group of three guests by using an extra bed at an extra charge.
There are a limited number of extra beds available.
Please request one in advance.

Does the hotel have baby beds?

Yes. There are a limited number of baby beds available.
Please request one in advance.

Does the hotel have baby fences/gates?

Yes. There are limited numbers of baby safety fences available.
Please make a request in advance.

Does the hotel have baby strollers?

No. We do not have baby strollers.

Are guest rooms accessible by wheelchair?

Yes. We have two types of wheelchair accessible rooms: Universal single and Universal double.
As for the details and availability, please contact us.

Does the hotel have connecting rooms?

No. We do not have any connecting rooms.

Are newspapers available at the hotel?

Yes. You can request a morning edition of the newspaper at an extra charge.

Do all guest rooms have a unit bath system with a toilet?

All guest rooms have a bathroom with a washing area and a separate toilet.
Hotel toilets are equipped with a warm-water washing toilet seat (Washlet).

Does the hotel have internet connection in guest rooms or the lobby?

Yes. You can connect to the internet through Wi-Fi in all areas of the hotel.
You can also connect to the internet through the wired LAN ports; LAN cables are available. Please request one at the front desk.
*Sometimes, however, connection failures may occur depending on certain device settings.

Where is the front desk?

Our front desk is located on the 18th floor.

Is there a large communal bath in the hotel?

No. There is no communal or public bath in the hotel.

Does the hotel have meeting rooms or banquet rooms?

We have meeting rooms on the 19th floor. For more details, please follow this link.
The hotel does not have any banquet rooms.

Are there any smoking areas inside of the hotel?

Yes. We have smoking booths on the 18th and 19th floors.

Does the hotel have coin-operated washing machines?

Yes. There are 24-hour coin-operated washing machines available on the 20th and 24th floors.

Does the hotel offer laundry service?

Yes. You can use the laundry service at an extra charge.
Please fill out the slip prepared in your room and bring your laundry to the front desk.
If you bring your laundry by 10:00am, you can get the clean laundry back by 7:00pm.
Please note that the laundry service is not available on Sunday, national holidays, or during the Bon Festival (Around August 13 to 16) and New Year's holidays.

Does the hotel have vending machines?

Yes. There are beverage vending machines available on the 20th and 24th floors.

Does the hotel have ice-making machines?

Yes. There are free ice-making machines available on the 20th and 24th floors.

Is it possible to ship luggage from the hotel?

Courier services are available at the front desk on the 18th floor.
However, the courier services are available only for domestic shipping destinations.

Is massage service available at the hotel?

Yes. Please place an order from the internal line of the guest room.

Does the hotel offer room service?

No. We do not provide room service.

What is the best way for guests to store valuables?

All guest rooms have a safe that can be used to store valuables.

Does the hotel provide wake-up calls?

Guests can set a wake-up call through the internal line of each guest room.
Alternatively, if you request a wake-up call at the front desk, we can set it for you.

Does the hotel have a parking lot?

There is no parking lot.

Does the hotel provide any transportation services?

We do not provide any transportation services.

Are there taxis stationed in front of the hotel?

There is no taxi stand in front of the station.
If you need a taxi, please make a request at the front desk. (Taxis may not always be available nearby. Please make a request in advance.)

Is there a driveway apron?

Yes. There is a driveway apron on the north side of the hotel (Lawson side). Please use it.

Are there any convenience stores nearby?

There is a Lawson and a Mini Stop within a one-minute walk.
There is also a Lawson on the 2nd floor of the hotel. (Open hours: 8:00am to 6:00pm.; closed every Saturday, Sunday and national holidays)

Restaurant

What time does the restaurant open in the morning?

It is open from 6:30am to 10:00am. (Last breakfast orders 9:30am).
We provide a breakfast buffet for overnight guests for 2,750 yen(Including tax) per person (1,650 yen(Including tax) for children) at the restaurant SOTOROKU on the 18th floor. Reservations are not required.

Can guests other than overnight hotel guests use this breakfast service?

Yes. We serve the breakfast buffet to all guests in addition to overnight guests.

Are children required to pay for eating breakfast in the hotel restaurant?

The breakfast price for children aged 7 to 12 will be charged separately. (see above)

Can the hotel staff make reservations at local restaurants for guests?

We do not provide a proxy service for making restaurant reservations.

Is the restaurant open for lunch or dinner?

Yes. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and available for all guests in addition to overnight guests.

The hotel restaurant is run by TAKARAYA, a Japanese restaurant established in 1897 in Kisarazu, which is famous for the harvesting of clams. We serve its signature dish, Asari-zen (clams with rice), and traditional Japanese soba. In addition to other Japanese dishes, such as tempura and sashimi, we serve a beefsteak and rice set.

Opening hours: 5:00pm - 10:30pm (Last orders 9:30pm)
We mainly serve Japanese dishes including traditional soba (buckwheat noodles) and dishes created with the special culinary skills of TAKARAYA. You can taste the combination of these specialty dishes with their original ingredients and flavors along with some Japanese sake selected from premier nationwide breweries.

Are there any private rooms in the restaurant?

Yes. There is a private room which can accommodate up to 12 people.

Is smoking permitted inside the restaurant?

Smoking is prohibited inside the restaurant.
Smoking is allowed at the smoking booth on the same floor (18th floor).

Where is the meeting room?

The meeting room is located on the 19th floor.

How large is the meeting room?

There is a 55㎡ meeting room with a maximum of 30 seats on the 19th floor.
It can also be partitioned into two separate rooms of 34㎡ and 21㎡.

When is the meeting room open?

The meeting room is open from 9:00am to 9:00pm.
*Any necessary room arrangement, set-up, and removal of equipment should be completed within the allotted time.
*You may enter the meeting room ten minutes before the reserved time.

When must a cancellation fee be paid after making a reservation?

In principle, you will be charged the following cancellation fees if you cancel a booking for a meeting room.
4 or 5 days before the day of use, 20% of the meeting room fee;
2 or 3 days before the day of use, 50% of the meeting room fee;
one day before or on the day of use,100% of the meeting room fee.

How should the fee for using the meeting room be paid?

Please make the payment in cash on site or by transfer in advance.
When using a bank transfer in advance, please send your payment at least three business days before the date of your reservation.

Can lunch boxes be prepared and served at a meeting?

We do not arrange or prepare any lunch box services.

Is smoking allowed inside the meeting room?

Smoking is prohibited inside the meeting room.
If you wish to smoke, please use the smoking booths on the same floor (19th floor).

Is internet service available?

Yes. Internet service is available. You can connect to the internet through our free Wi-Fi.
*Sometimes, however, connection failures may occur depending on certain device settings.

Fitness room

What are the opening hours of the fitness room?

The fitness room is open from 5:00am to 10:00pm.

What kind of facilities are there in the fitness room?

There are running machines, stationary bikes, multi-press equipment, and yoga mats.

Is it possible for people other than overnight guests to use the fitness room?

The fitness room is available only for overnight guests.

Are there shower rooms in the fitness room?

There is no shower room.

Does the fitness room provide a rental service for sportswear or shoes?

There is no rental service for sportswear or shoes.
Please bring your own if you wish to use the fitness room.
