Ceramic Objects
This is a work by Yumiko Kinjo, a ceramic artist with a studio in Haebaru Town in the southern part of Okinawa's main island. Her style expresses the vast ocean, sky, nature and atmosphere of Okinawa and fascinates many people.
Ceramic Objects
This work was created by Katsushi Shimabukuro, a ceramic artist who has a studio on Miyagi Island in Uruma City in the central north of Okinawa's main island. The object has a bulb motif, and is reminiscent of the sea and sky of Okinawa, with its pointed tip reminiscent of a conch shell.
Ryukyu glass objects
While always imagining the scenes in which the person who will use it is working hard to create his work, he created an egg-shaped object (made by Tadashi Uehara) and a glass-blowing technique that creates beautiful colors through the light, a technique that is truly the magic of glass. Lacquer Panel
The piece was created in a unique style, with petrified coral collected from Hyakuna Beach in Nanjō City in the southern part of Okinawa's main island, placed on a wooden board, wrapped in a thin fiber fabric, and then painted with multiple layers of lacquer. This time, the project also includes the challenge of creating a lacquer panel in a "new color." (Made by Hiroya Maeda)
Light wall
The most striking feature of the hotel lobby, with its spacious 6-meter-high ceiling, is the illuminated wall at the front desk of the first floor lobby. Behind the glass, Japanese paper made from Kyushu-produced raw materials is used to create a subtle gradation of colors, which truly represents the ocean and horizon of Okinawa.
Ceramic Panel
This piece is based on the theme of the clear blue sea of Okinawa, and is made of Arita semi-porcelain clay and finished with glaze. The blue of this ceramic relief connects the public areas to the guest rooms. (Created by Yumiko Kinjo)

I was excited to go to this newly opened hotel (^ ^) First of all, it has excellent access! It's right next to Kokusai Street, which is great! The rooms are stylish and the furniture and tableware are also carefully selected. You can see the whole city from the open windows. I'd like to go again.
There was a steamer, a mirror for makeup, and many electrical outlets... I thought it was a very convenient room for a girl! And I want to go back to "37 Steakhouse & Bar" for breakfast! It was one of the best experiences I've had on any trip I've ever been on.
