Mikawachi Ware

    It is porcelain fired in Mikawa, which is located in the eastern part of Sasebo City, Nagasaki Prefecture. Boasting a history of 400 years, there are designs such as "Karako Pattern", "Shonzui Pattern", and "Karakusa Pattern", and the lines are delicately drawn with a thin brush tip and blurred with a technique called "dami" to give depth to the patterns drawn in the White Porcelain.
