Notice regarding the introduction of Kumamoto City's accommodation tax from July 1, 2026

Starting July 1, 2026, Kumamoto City will be introducing an accommodation tax to secure stable revenue sources for tourism promotion efforts, including improving the city's appeal as a tourist city, creating a visitor-friendly environment for staying, and strategically promoting visitor attraction.

We ask for your understanding that all guests staying at our hotel will be charged 200 yen per person per night at the front desk.

* Children sharing a bed with their parents are not subject to tax, and do not incur accommodation fees. (Children using their own beds are subject to tax.)
