JR KYUSHU HOTEL Zuand Resorts Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City, President & CEO: Hidehiko Kakutani) will renew the uniforms of the 11 hotels it operates for the first time in about six years and start wearing them from April 1, 2025.

A relaxed, laid back style that provides comfort and kindness to customers
The theme is "Relax." The design is free of any sense of formality, and values the elegance and familiarity that comes from being natural, aiming to provide guests with a sense of security and trust. The base color is dark blue, and the design is genderless. The jacket has no collar, and the white and gold accent lines on the cuffs and collar express the hotelier-like feel, creating a refreshing look, resulting in a simple yet memorable design.

Enjoy coordinating your uniform and work in a way that suits you
In addition to the jacket style, we will also be introducing a new vest style.
We believe that the vest style will give guests a softer impression, and also make it easier for staff to regulate their temperature, improving comfort. In addition, by allowing staff to choose their innerwear and bottoms, 16 different coordination patterns can be enjoyed. Furthermore, we have kept the rules on what to wear to a minimum, making wearing the uniform itself a fun experience. We hope that the freedom to choose a style will enable staff to make the most of their individual personalities, and give guests a fresh and friendly impression.

A comfortable and functional design that pursues ease of working
In order to realize a comfortable and functional uniform that incorporates the staff's perspective, various innovations have been incorporated into each item. The jacket is buttonless with no padding, and the bottoms have an elastic waist, so they can be worn comfortably. These are made of luxurious wool-like fabric that features two-way stretch and a supple texture. In addition, the number of buttons on the innerwear has been minimized to give room around the neck, emphasizing ease of putting on and taking off. The material used is highly functional, with excellent stretchability, sweat absorption, quick drying, shape retention, and anti-see-through properties, reducing the daily burden on staff. In terms of functionality, practicality has been enhanced with deep pockets that have good storage capacity, reflecting the needs of staff. These innovations allow all staff to work comfortably in various hotel environments with different regions and climates.

Environmental Considerations and Sustainability
Our company has introduced the "BRING UNIFORM" recycling collection system provided by JEPLAN Co., Ltd. We aim to properly dispose of out-of-service uniforms, recycle them into polyester raw materials for clothing, automobile interior materials, etc., and circulate them back into the market. Through this initiative, we will raise the environmental awareness of our staff and contribute to the sustainability of our company.

Designer Yoshihide Oka

After graduating from Bunka Fashion College, he joined a uniform company and began his career as a designer. After going independent, he has been involved in uniform design for over 25 years, and has designed over 300 corporate uniforms to date. He provides uniform designs that bring out the individuality of companies in a variety of industries.
