Utilizing the amenity station
The following hotels and facilities have discontinued providing amenities in guest rooms and instead have set up amenity stations in the reception lobby for guests to choose from. When amenities were provided in all guest rooms, unused amenities were disposed of for hygiene reasons, but by allowing guests to choose according to their needs, we are working to reduce waste.

Eco Cleaning
We provide eco-cleaning cards in guest rooms and have accommodation plans for eco-cleaning so that linens (sheets, pillowcases, and in-house wear) can be changed only by guests who request it. We are working to reduce the use of linens while following the wishes of our guests.

Going paperless
We have eliminated the paper accommodation registration form that guests used to fill out at check-in and have switched to using electronic tablets and smart check-in machines. This allows guests to complete the procedure without having to come into contact with staff, which also contributes to preventing infection. In addition, some hotels are reducing the use of paper media such as hotel guides and tourist information pamphlets, and are transitioning to using electronic tablets instead.

Installation of demand equipment
We have installed demand monitoring equipment in our offices that displays the amount of electricity used in numerical form. Based on the visualized data, our front desk staff manages the lobby's air conditioning appropriately and turns off the lights frequently, thereby reducing energy consumption on a daily basis.

Reclaimed water use and water conservation
We are actively striving to conserve water, such as adopting sanitary equipment with water-saving functions. In addition, THE BLOSSOM HAKATA Premier uses miscellaneous water that has been treated at a recycling treatment facility in accordance with the "Fukuoka City Ordinance on Recycled Water Utilization and Sewerage Business" established by Fukuoka City.

Uniform Recycling
~From clothing to new resources~
Our company is working to recycle the uniforms worn by our employees. Instead of disposing of uniforms that have outlived their usefulness, we have adopted "BRING UNIFORM™," a uniform collection and recycling platform provided by JEPLAN Co., Ltd., and the collected uniforms are recycled into new resources such as recycled polyester raw materials for clothing and automobile interior materials. This allows us to recycle limited resources.

Creating accommodation plans incorporating locally produced products, distributing novelties, and installing artwork
Our hotels and facilities incorporate the characteristics of each region and communicate their appeal in a variety of ways. Artwork made from materials originating from each region and Kyushu is displayed in the hotel. We also provide hospitality that allows our guests to experience the charm of each region, such as by offering meal plans that allow you to enjoy local specialties and by preparing local specialties that you can take home.

Hakata City Walk
At THE BLOSSOM HAKATA Premier, we are holding a "Rediscovering the History of Hakata" town walk every Sunday guided by the hotel staff (as of April 1, 2022, it is suspended from the viewpoint of preventing the spread of new coronavirus infection). In collaboration with a company in Fukuoka (East Co., Ltd.), this is a guided tour that allows guests staying at the hotel to enjoy the old town of Hakata in a short time (reservation of the relevant accommodation plan is required in advance). On Sundays, the front desk staff will be tour guides themselves, and will guide you carefully while experiencing history and traditional culture.

Introducing detergent-free coin laundry machines that are gentle on the skin
We have introduced the detergent-free coin laundry "wash+Comfort" provided by wash-plus Co., Ltd., which not only reduces wastewater pollution as an effort to conserve water resources, but also saves water compared to vertical washing machines. In addition, by not using detergent, it can be used safely by people with sensitive skin.

Objects made by welfare facility users are used as artwork in guest rooms
In the guest rooms of THE BLOSSOM KUMAMOTO, the welfare facility uses objects made using igusa from Yatsushiro, Kumamoto Prefecture. Unprocessed grass, which has a pleasant natural scent, also serves as a humidity regulator and improves the comfort of the room. This is an initiative that considers the environment, makes use of local materials, and provides a place for activities for welfare facilities.

Women's empowerment
Aiming to create an environment where women can thrive, we strive to create an environment that is easy for both men and women to work in, such as by improving welfare benefits and various allowances, including homecoming travel allowances. In addition, we are quickly responding to social needs, such as reviewing and revising uniforms that are easy to move in and introducing maternity marks, and as of 2022, both the ratio of female employees and the ratio of female managers are higher than the national average.

Health and Productivity Management
Our company is conducting activities to maintain and improve the mental and physical health of our employees.
We ensure that employees undergo regular health checkups, stress checks, individual interviews with industrial physicians, and training. We also provide subsidies for influenza vaccinations and medical checkups to help detect illnesses early and prevent them from becoming severe. In addition, we are working to improve employees' eating habits by introducing a company cafeteria service, planning sporting events, and participating in walking events outside the company.
